Embark on an exciting buggy route starting and ending at the E.S. Repsol in Diezma, in the province of Granada. From here, we will embark on a circular adventure through stunning natural landscapes in front of Sierra Nevada.
We begin our journey on the GR-3201 until we reach this iconic reservoir, where we will make a brief stop to admire its beauty and learn about its history and importance.
We continue to Baños de Graena, with a brief stop to enjoy the first views of the impressive badlands and the natural environment of La Peza, part of the UNESCO World Geopark of Granada. The views of the Sierra Nevada are simply spectacular.
We will go through vineyards and local crops with Sierra Nevada always present. We pass Policar and dive into the sierra through El Sabuco, enjoying the diversity of vegetation up to the Mirador de La Peza, to learn more about the local culture.
We continue towards El Nabogar and Fuente Alta, crossing a pine forest and reaching the Mirador de Peña Bermeja at 1572 meters. Here, the panoramic views of the Sierra de Huétor, the Hoya de Guadix and Sierra Nevada will take your breath away.
We start the descent, with the possibility of sighting mountain goats, to the Recreational Area of the Fuente de la Gitana. We take the GR-3201 and turn off towards the Barranco de la Zarzadilla ravine and the Camino de Tablillas, one of the most beautiful and technical parts of the route, with local fauna such as cows, goats and eagles.
Finally, we walk along the Barranco de Malajara ravine, passing by the ruins of the old brick and tile factory of the Fardes River, until we return to the starting point, bordering the reservoir.

Comfortable and suitable clothes that you do not mind getting dusty, dirty or muddy. Depending on the route and time of year, we will pass through very dry and dusty areas, but we may also pass through areas of water and muddy conditions.
Drivers must be over 25 years of age and hold a valid B1 driving licence for over 5 years. It is a legal requirement in Spain to carry photo ID, national identity card (TIE) or passport along with your driving license. You will need to provide us with a copy of your valid driving license prior to taking part in the excursion.
Make sure you bring some high factor sunscreen, as it can be very hot, and you will be under these conditions for several hours.
