This excursion starts and ends at the ES BP Vera, located at Ctra. Vera-Garrucha Km 1,8 in Vera. (starting point on map), iin the province of Almeria, as it is a circular route.
We start the route along asphalted rural roads that run parallel to the main A352 road, leaving behind the Equestrian Club, we reach the area known as Las Salinas de Garrucha, crossing them tangentially along signposted paths until we reach the El Suizo Restaurant where we stop to have a glimpse of the salt marshes and explain the geological and climatological processes that give rise to these formations.
We will enter a more deserted and representative landscape of the area by tracks, coming across the so-called terraces of the geographical feature, which are so attractive and characteristic of the Almeria landscape, creating a sense of adventure for the user. From this point we begin the ascent after a turn towards the Sierra for about three kilometres along mountain paths that open the way to wide views. Arriving at the viewpoint where we will make a second stop to enjoy the Central Valley of Vera and the sea.
From this point we start the descent again along routes parallel to the Garrucha Karting, bordering semi-abandoned crop fields until we reach a path that develops on gravel terrain to access again to asphalted rural roads, leaving Garrucha behind until we reach the starting point again, along secondary roads where the route ends.
Comfortable and suitable clothes that you don't mind if they get dusty or muddy because depending on the route we may pass through water, mud or areas where there is a lot of dust.
